A little bit about Me...
A certified counselor that specializes in relationship counselling. In my practice, I use different techniques ranging from reflective listening, where couples talk to each other calmly and practice active listening, emotionally focused therapy where we identify maladaptive behavior and finally, narrative therapy which requires clients to write down certain memories after which we will identify inconsistency.
I am also trained in the Gottman method and solution-focused therapy. My sessions can be attended solo or with your partner. Either way, the session is customized, and the therapies used are tailored to the individual and their situation.
From personal experiences, I have dealt with heartache and broken trust; as a result, I have dedicated my earlier years to understanding the complexities of human emotions and creating routines to get through the tough moments life throws at us. Whilst the knowledge and wisdom I received from self-study took me far, it was not enough to satisfy my curiosity and desire to help people on a larger scale. This insatiability for knowledge led me to becoming a certified counselor with evidence-based techniques.
Through this site, I am offering different types of sessions that focus on allowing clients to speak about their problems in a safe, confidential environment, following this, I will offer my professional advice as well as customized techniques that will teach clients how to cope with their difficult situations.
